GARY SIMONS

GARY SIMONS is a Connecticut-raised, NYC-based comedian, writer, and actor whose inviting narrative style and witty, introspective observations have made him a standout on the New York comedy scene. He's a regular at the World Famous Comedy Cellar and was named a 2026 Just For Laughs Montreal New Face, one of the industry's most prestigious launchpads for rising stand-up talent. In 2024, he was selected as a Comic-to-Watch in the New York Comedy Festival, and while in college he won Georgetown's "Funniest Human" competition — a contest whose past champs include John Mulaney and Mike Birbiglia.

GARY has performed and produced all over the country, touring as an opener for Mike Birbiglia, Roy Wood Jr., Gary Gulman, and Sam Jay. He's also worked behind the scenes as a co-producer on Birbiglia's Netflix show The Good Life, and back home in New York he writes, produces, and hosts his own quarterly variety show, The Comedy Kickback, blending stand-up, music, and original sketches.
