Comedian TOM COTTER skyrocketed to fame as the breakout star and runner-up on Season 7 of America’s Got Talent (AGT), becoming the first comedian to reach the finals. While he lost to a dog act, he proudly finished as the highest-ranking human that year. Tom’s AGT journey continued with invitations to perform as a special guest on multiple seasons, including AGT: The Champions, where he earned a standing ovation for one of the competition’s most memorable sets. His numerous TV and radio credits include The Tonight Show, Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central Presents: Tom Cotter, The Howard Stern Show, and CBS’ The Late Late Show. Tom also headlined America’s Got Talent Live in Las Vegas and performed at top comedy clubs like The Comedy Cellar, Caroline’s on Broadway, and The Improv, as well as festivals such as Montreal’s Just For Laughs and the HBO Comedy Arts Festival.
Beyond the stage, Tom showcased his comedic talents in diverse venues worldwide, from Alaska to China, and even performed on British television after being invited to London. He won the Seattle International Stand-Up Comedy Competition and the Boston Comedy Festival with record-breaking margins. His first book, Bad Dad: A Guide to Pitiful Parenting, features hilarious insights for exasperated parents and is available everywhere. Known for his rapid-fire style, Tom’s latest special, Tom Cotter: Rapid Fire, is set for release later this year.
